Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 1 August 2026
1. INTRODUCTION
These Terms & Conditions govern the supply of heating and gas services by Atlas Heating & Gas. By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
2. Quotations
All quotations are provided free of charge unless otherwise stated.
Quotes remain valid for 30 days from the date issued and are subject to availability of materials.
Any additional work requested after a quotation has been accepted may incur additional charges, which will be discussed and agreed before work begins.
3. Booking Appointments
Appointments can be made by telephone, email or through the contact form on our website.
We will always aim to arrive within the agreed appointment window. Occasionally delays may occur due to emergency call-outs or unforeseen circumstances, and we will keep you informed where possible.
4. Access to the Property
Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access to the property and any appliances requiring inspection or repair.
If access cannot be gained, a call-out charge may apply.
5. Payments
A deposit may sometimes be required to secure the work being carried out.
Full payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept payment by bank transfer and other agreed payment methods.
Late payments may incur additional administration or interest charges where permitted by law.
6. Boiler Installations
Installation dates are subject to product availability.
Following installation, customers will receive the relevant manufacturer's documentation and warranty information.
Warranty periods are determined by the boiler manufacturer and are subject to their terms and servicing requirements.
7. Boiler Servicing
Annual servicing helps maintain the safety and efficiency of your boiler.
A boiler service does not guarantee that future faults or breakdowns will not occur.
If faults are identified during servicing, we will explain the issue and provide a quotation for any recommended repairs.
8. Repairs
We will always aim to diagnose faults accurately.
Where replacement parts are required, repairs may need to be completed during a follow-up visit depending on parts availability.
While every effort is made to repair appliances, we cannot guarantee that older appliances can always be repaired economically.
9. Gas Safety Certificates (CP12)
Gas Safety Certificates are carried out in accordance with current Gas Safe regulations.
If an appliance is found to be unsafe, we are legally obliged to classify and advise on the appropriate action in accordance with Gas Safe procedures.
10. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
-
Providing accurate information regarding existing appliances.
-
Informing us of any known faults before the appointment.
-
Ensuring someone over the age of 18 is present during the visit.
11. Cancellation Policy
Appointments cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice will not incur a charge.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Missed appointments where access cannot be gained may also incur a call-out charge.
12. Liability
Atlas Heating & Gas carries full public liability insurance.
Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided unless otherwise required by law.
We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including supplier delays, severe weather or emergencies.
13. Privacy
Any personal information collected is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
